How do I password protect a folder on my website?

If you use Frontpage to manage your website, following the instructions provided below will cause your site to be problematic and not function

Answer
#1: Login to your Control Panel
#2: Locate the 'password protect directories' link
#3: Choose the document root (site) you wish to protect
#4: Click on the name of the folder to bring up the protection screen.
#5: Check the box to the right, and name your directory (you can change this later)
#6: Click save
#7: Click go back
#8: Type in a username and password
#9: Click add/modify user
#2: Locate the 'password protect directories' link
#3: Choose the document root (site) you wish to protect
#4: Click on the name of the folder to bring up the protection screen.
#5: Check the box to the right, and name your directory (you can change this later)
#6: Click save

NOTE
It is important to follow the above steps in order. You must add the protected directory and save it before adding users
